The Study Organization and Examinations Office (short: “StoP”, pruefungsverwaltung(at)hs-gm.de) is your first source of information for any questions about exams, degree program timelines, grades and results, examination regulations, curricula etc.

The General Provisions for Assessment Regulations (ABPO) are the provisions which are relevant to all degree programs at Hochschule Geisenheim University, and take precedence over the Special Provisions for Assessment Regulations (BBPO) set out by the individual degree programs. The Special Provisions for Assessment Regulations determine the regulation of the examining process within the degree programs and can be found in the degree program information.
The Examination Committee holds regular meetings to decide about the recognition of academic achievements and admission to examinations.
In addition, the committee is responsible for the following requests:
Requests must be submitted in writing (e-mail or letter) to the Chair of the Examination Committee. No special form is required. For more information and support, please contact your degree program administrator in the Examinations Office (for contact details see "Specific information about your degree program").
Lecture periods and exam dates are determined by the Senate of Hochschule Geisenheim University.

Please check the curriculum of your program and contact the coordinator of the module that you would like to get recognized.
Required documents:
The module coordinator reviews and signs the documents before they are forwarded to the Study Organization & Examination Office. In a final step, the chair of the examination committee of your degree program reviews and signs off on your application. Your achievements are then officially recognized and entered into QIS.

The rules for registering for and cancelling exams, reporting illness, and general rules of conduct during exams are established by the Examinations Committee and apply to all programs.
